The following is a list of the people arrested in St. Landry Parish for December 30, 2015:

Thomas Streetman, 26, 1712 Fern Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on December 29, 2015 at 7:02 am on a warrant for cyberstalking. A deputy collected evidence that Streetman repeatedly harassed a female victim through a social networking application and was issued a warrant for his arrest. A deputy patrolling the Patterson area yesterday morning located Streetman at his residence and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Cheryl B. Pontiff, 49, 151 Uranus Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on December 29, 2015 at 11:05 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Pontiff turned herself in to a deputy with the Warrants Division. The deputy transported her to the parish jail for booking. Pontiff was released on a $500 bond.

Carl Cage, 50, 121 Helen Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on December 29, 2015 at 4:21 pm for simple assault. A deputy responded to a complaint of possible shoplifting at a business on Highway 182 in Centerville. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Cage verbally threatened a male subject. Cage was released on a summons to appear in court on March 7, 2016.

Jody Cubbedge, Sr., 57, 3010 Third Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on December 29, 2015 at 9:28 pm on a warrant for theft of goods and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic battery. A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle parked behind the dumpster of a business on Highway 90. As the deputy approached, the driver opened the door and began exiting the truck. The driver then saw the deputy, got back into the vehicle, and attempted to leave. The deputy made contact with the subject, identified as Cubbedge, and located the active warrants for his arrest. The warrant for theft of goods is the result of an investigation into a shoplifting complaint from a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy collected evidence that Cubbedge took an item from the shelf without paying for it and then returned the item for cash at the customer service desk. When confronted about his actions by a store employee, Cubbedge fled. After being taken into custody on the warrants, Cubbedge was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
