The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office investigated 118 complaints in the last 72 hours. The following is a list of the people that were arrested:

Charles Beverly, 23, 103 Second Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on December 11, 2015 at 9:47 am for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and introduction of contraband into a penal institution. Beverly turned himself in on a parole violation. During the booking process, a jailer located three marijuana cigarettes on Beverly’s person. No bail is set.

Amber L. Metrejean, 26, 202 California Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on December 12, 2015 at 2:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. With the assistance of a Berwick Police officer, a deputy located Metrejean on California Street on the warrant. She was transported to the parish jail for booking. Metrejean was released after paying a $971.43 fine.

Christine A. Hughes, 32, 264 Vivian Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 11, 2015 at 7:51 pm on 4 warrants for failure to comply with the terms a d conditions of drug court. Hughes was transferred from the Vermillion Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set at $400,000.

David Miller, 34, 223 Jones Street, Apt. 4, Berwick, LA was arrested on December 11, 2015 at 10:40 pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy observed a vehicle swerving on Highway 182 in the Patterson area and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Miller, and a female passenger. The deputy observed bruising on the female subject’s face. During the traffic stop investigation, the deputy learned that Miller and the female subject were arguing in the vehicle when Miller struck the female victim with his fist. Miller was transported to the parish jail. He was released after posting $2,500 bail.

Jeffery P. Disatell, 26, 138 Hundred Oaks Drive, Youngsville, LA was arrested on December 11, 2015 at 9:49 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy patrolling the Jeanerette area observed a vehicle parked at the West St. Mary Civic Center. As the deputy approached, he observed a male subject, later identified as Disatell, quickly get inside the vehicle and drive away. The deputy stopped the vehicle, made contact with the Disatell, and smelled the odor of burning marijuana. During the stop, the deputy located a small container with a small amount of marijuana inside, a burnt marijuana cigarette, and a grinder containing bits of marijuana. The deputy transported Disatell to the parish jail for booking. Disatell was released on a summons to appear in court on March 7, 2016.

Debra Jones, 56, 121 Bayouview Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on December 12, 2015 at 4:08 pm for violation of the maximum speed limit law. A deputy observed a vehicle traveling 70 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour zone on Highway 182 in the Centerville area. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Jones. Following the traffic stop investigation, Jones was released on a summons to appear in court on March 7, 2016.

Christopher J. Grogan, 31, 3612 Captain Cade Road, Youngsville, LA was arrested on December 12, 2015 at 8:03 pm for no driver’s license and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign on Red Cypress Road in Patterson. While speaking with the driver, identified as Grogan, the deputy learned that he was operating the vehicle without a license. The deputy also located an active warrant for Grogan’s arrest. Grogan was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Tyrique T.L. Jones, 18, 1512 Plum Street #2, Patterson, LA was arrested on December 14, 2015 at 1:00 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of illegal carrying of weapons, illegal possession of stolen things, and discharge of a firearm from a public road. A deputy stopped to speak with a male subject walking on Highway 182 near Polaris Street in Bayou Vista. The deputy identified the subject as Jones and located the active warrant for his arrest. Jones was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $30,000.
