Three People Sentenced For Trafficking Meth Into Acadiana

Three people have been sentenced for helping traffic drugs into Acadiana. Dawn Broussard of Lake Arthur, Justin Regan of Iota, and Daniel Wright plead guilty for their roles in getting meth from sources in Texas and distributing it throughout the area. Broussard was sentenced to 10 years and three months in prison, Regan was sentenced to 10 years, and Wright was sentenced to almost 6 years. Additionally, all three got 5 years supervised release. Four remaining co-defendants will be scheduled for sentencing at a later date.
