The Crowley Police Department has reported the arrests of two fugitives that were arrested in separate parishes for unrelated crimes.

Louisiana State Police arrested 31-year-old Joshua Stringer, who was wanted by Crowley Police since July 2015 for charges involving a domestic dispute. Stringer was booked into the Acadia Parish jail and charged with attempted second-degree murder, domestic abuse battery and carjacking.

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office assisted Crowley Police in arresting 55-year-old Clyde Duhon, of Breaux Bridge. Duhon was being sought for inappropriate contact with a juvenile girl inside a Crowley store. Duhon was arrested for indecent behavior with a juvenile and stalking.

“It may take some time but we never stop working to complete and close a case,” said Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson.
