10 Winter Crops that Should be Ripe Soon
There is a nursery rhyme or fable or some other story I remember from when I was a kid about an ant and a grasshopper. The ant was busy at work while the grasshopper was enjoying his summer and then, when winter hit, the grasshopper needed food and the ant refused. Remember that one?
Well, I took 2 things away from that story. 1) The grasshopper, of course, should have been preparing for winter, and 2) that ant was a jerk (I mean, come on: what would Jesus do?).
With that being said, if you were an ant this summer and not a grasshopper, here are 10 winter crops that should be a-plenty around this time.
