ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) — An attempt to sell stolen motorcycle parts over the Internet led the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office to arrest two Alexandria residents.

The Town Talk reports the investigation began with a report of three motorcycles stolen from a Pineville home.

Deputies say the Internet posting led detectives to 26-year-old Jedodiah Jewell Bartley and 44-year-old Paula Danise Johnson.

Bartley was booked with three counts of unauthorized use, two counts of criminal damage and one count of obstruction of justice.

Johnson faces three counts of possession of stolen goods, one count of obstruction of justice, one count of resisting an officer and one count of misrepresentation at booking.
