Acadiana Man Dies In Four-Wheeler Crash

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Major Ginny Higgins says that a man died following a four-wheeler crash in their parish.

Deputies were called out to the 2900 block of the Atchafalaya River Highway after there was a crash of 76-year-old Herman Courville's ATV.

Higgins says that the man was riding on the levee, when he crash. As the ATV crashed, Mr. Couville was thrown off of his four-wheeler.

He was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from the ATV.
