Acadiana Woman Crowned Convention Queen

Victoria Elise Roussel of Vermilion Parish was crowned queen at the 2019 Louisiana Farm Bureau Convention Saturday night (June 22, 2019).

The annual convention was held June 20 through June 23.

Roussel was competing against women from twenty-three other parishes.

She was tested to demonstrate her knowledge of agriculture in Louisiana.

The Vermilion Parish woman will represent Louisiana for the next year at festivals and other events throughout the state.
