Accused Murderer Cleared in Lafayette Shooting

22-year-old Bri'ani Doucet has been cleared of Second Degree Murder in the shooting death of 22-year-old Travon T. Adams, who was found dead in a car on MLK Drive in October of 2019.

According to our news partners at KATC, a Lafayette Parish grand jury refused to indict Doucet in court on Wednesday.

As of this time, she is still listed as being in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
