The ACLU says it's making the request in response to reports that a sixth-grader who had been struck by another student was handcuffed days later. Executive Director of the ACLU of Louisiana Margerie Esman. Esman says there was no need to handcuff the 6th grader days after the school fight occurred. Esman says they are seeking the public records to find out if it's school policy to handcuff students.
