If the mid term elections, and various other horrible stories in the news have you got you down today, then this story is for you.

An adorable 10 year old little boy named Parish Webber was invited to go onstage with the 484 South Band at the 2018 Baton Rouge Veterans Day Parade. Parish has Down Syndrome, and he won hearts all over Louisiana with his rendition of Toby Keith's 'Should've Been a Cowboy'. His parents are happy that people are able to see his 'abilities, and not his disability.'

Parish's mother Kelli Webber told WAFB 'When Parish got on that stage and started to sing, my heart nearly exploded with pride. He was fearless, he was focused, and he was fantastic. I was in awe of how comfortable he looked on the stage and how great he was at rockin’ that microphone. It was like he had been performing his whole life.'

Parish, you have made my day. Thank you for your song, and your spirit!
