NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) — An African man has been convicted on charges of fraud and impersonating a citizen of the United States.

Court records say Dennis Agbor Agbor used a California driver's license with the name Alfonzo McDaniel when he applied for a job in Warren County, Miss., in 2010. He was trying to get a job with Quality Contractors of Louisiana.

He also allegedly used the information on a federal form related to employment eligibility in August 2010.

Court records say Agbor is from Cameroon, Africa.

A jury convicted him Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Natchez. Sentencing is March 11.
