In Acadiana, we can go through all four seasons in one day.  We love summertime for all the outdoor pleasures Louisiana has to offer but there's something about a winter night that makes a Cajun happy.

Get ready to wrap the pipes and protect the plants.  Next week looks like a cold one for South Louisiana.  This weekend we could be into the 30s Friday night/Saturday morning and only into the mid to upper 40s during the day Saturday and Sunday.  After a bit of a warmup on Sunday, the mercury will start to drop.

Euro models show the temperature in the Hub City to hit 26 degrees Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning.  Tuesday's high is predicted to be 41degrees, cold that night, then warming to 47 Wednesday.

Winter officially arrives in Louisiana on December 21.  Mother Nature will give us an appetizer of her cold side in the middle of next week.
