Beating Death Leads To Second-Degree Murder Charge In Shreveport
SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Police in Shreveport have booked a man with second-degree murder following a weekend fight.
A police news release says officers were dispatched on a disorderly person call Saturday evening and found a man unconscious with serious upper body injuries. He died at LSU Health Sciences Center.
Investigating officers learned that the victim had been in a fight with another man.
They later arrested 33-year-old Marecellus Adams of Shreveport without incident. Adams was booked with second-degree murder.
