Blossman Named Publisher Of New Orleans Publishing Group

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The Dolan Company has named Lisa Blossman publisher of the New Orleans Publishing Group, which includes New Orleans CityBusiness and the Daily Journal of Commerce.

She joined NOPG as an account executive the year she graduated from the University of Texas, and was senior vice president and associate publisher before her promotion.

CityBusiness reports that CEO Jim Dolan made the news public Friday at the 14th annual CityBusiness Women of the Year event.

Chris Eddings, director of publishing operations with The Dolan Company, has worked with Blossman since Dolan acquired NOPG from local ownership in 2000. He said her experience, leadership and status in the New Orleans business community make her ideal for the publisher's job.
