At yesterday's meeting of the Baton Rouge Press Club, the head of Blueprint Louisiana presented the group's recommendations for eradicating one-point-six-billion-dollars in red ink from the 2011-2012 state budget.  (Audio Available)Bill Fenstermaker says the group believes nearly 95-hundred jobs should be slashed from the state's workforce over the next two years. 

The group also proposed requiring new workers and those not yet vested to contribute more to state retirement plans and to end legislative control over increases in college tuition.
