Senior linebacker Jacques Boudreaux has been named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in Saturday's 37-24 win over Georgia Southern.

Boudreaux, who prepped at Holy Cross HS in New Orleans, set a career high with 12 tackles on Saturday, including a tackle for loss.  Seven of his tackles came in the first half that saw the Cajuns hold Georgia Southern to just 90 total yards.  His previous high was eleven tackles in last season's regular season finale against ULM.

Arkansas State wide receiver Omar Bayless, who caught ten passes for 213 yards and a touchdown was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week, while Red Wolves punter Cody Grace was the Special Teams Player of the Week.
