NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans police are asking for help in identifying a woman's burned body that was found Tuesday at the entrance of a city-owned stadium near the campus of Southern University of New Orleans.

Police received a call about 9:45 a.m. of a body found and, upon their arrival, discovered a woman lying on the ground of the parking lot. A Levee Board worker found the body and flagged down a New Orleans Crime Lab unit that was in the area, police said.

The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Police said she had a butterfly tattoo on the right side of her buttocks and another tattoo on her lower left calf with lettering and ending with the name "AISHA."

Anyone with information about the victim is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
