Center Street Will Be Reduced To One Lane Next Week

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says utility work will mean that Highway 14, Center Street in New Iberia, will be reduced down to one lane between Monday and Friday of next week.

Center Street in the northwest direction at Pershing Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic starting Monday, September 26 through Friday, September 30.

The work is scheduled to at 7 o'clock in the morning through 7 o'clock each night.

DOTD officials say oversized loads will be restricted to 12 feet.
