Changes To Higher Ed Possible
Significant changes that would impact what's offered at the state's public colleges and universities are in the works. The Louisiana Board of Regents says more than 450 college degree programs could get the axe because of low graduation numbers. Some 212 programs are being scrutinized in the University of Louisiana System. The board is expected to release a final report on the matter before the end of April. University officials have until the end of next month to challenge the proposals.
