Charter Commission Expected to Approve Single Proposition
Charter Commission member Bruce Conque tells KPEL news he's cautiously optimistic the commission will approve a single proposition tonight which calls for separate city and parish charters. The initial vote passed six to three. Conque says that's what he's hoping they'll do again tonight.
