Luis Mesa-Quinones, 39, of Colombia, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Richard T. Haik on one count of illegal re-entry after being deported. According to evidence presented at the March 25, 2015 guilty plea, the defendant was arrested on April 7, 2014 in Iberia Parish for driving while intoxicated, failure to yield, driving without a license and vehicular negligent injury.
