Compost Facility Temporary Closure

Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Dean Domingues Compost Facility located at 400 Dugas Road (off North University Avenue) will be closed the week of Monday, March 18 and is scheduled to reopen the following Monday. The closure is necessary for facility upgrades. The facility will not be giving out or taking in any composting material while this work is being done. Weather permitting the completion of the work, the facility is expected to reopen on Monday, March 25 at 7 a.m.
