Congressman Bill Cassidy To Host Town Hall In Lafayette

U.S. Representative Bill Cassidy will hold a Town Hall Meeting in Lafayette this coming Monday, October 7 at 6 o'clock at the River Oaks Catering and Event Center.

Cassidy says,

"My goal is to channel the wisdom of our people into policy in Washington.  Louisianans know best how to fix the problems our nation faces.  As part of my campaign for the U.S. Senate, I am seeking the views and wisdom of those in the Lafayette region.  Together, we can change the U.S. Senate and provide the checks and balances we need to President Obama's out-of-touch agenda."

The event is being labelled as the "Cassidy For Senate Lafayette Town Hall Meeting".

The meeting will be in the Le Pavilion Room at the River Oaks Center at 520 East Kaliste Saloom Road.

The event is open to the public, and he will answer questions from those in attendance, but seating is limited.

Cassidy announced his candidacy for Louisiana's 2014 U.S. Senate seat in April.
