Coussan Says He Is Ready For Legislative Challenges
During Saturday's primary election, two men garnered enough votes to make it into the November 21 runoff election for State Representative District 45.
The office will be vacated by State Representative Joel Robideaux who is now the Lafayette City Parish President-elect.
Andre Comeaux and Jean-Paul Coussan won 41 and 37 percent of the vote respectively.
Jean-Paul Coussan sat down with Bernadette Lee and Brandon Comeaux of "Acadiana's Morning News" to talk about what his focus is now that he has made the runoff.
Coussan says,
"We're really excited about the results. We're excited about the run off. We're looking forward to getting back to work. I think we'll stay consistant."
