The Crowley Police Department has tallied up nearly two dozen narcotics-related arrests during the month of May.

“Our officers have been working hard and I am proud of their effort," Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson said. "During the month of May, 21 people have been arrested on a variety of narcotics charges.”

Of the 21 individuals caught with banned and dangerous substances, 17 individuals were taken into police custody, while four were issued citations. The following is the complete list of drug arrests made by the Crowley Police Department for May 2015.

"We are still seeing an increase in methamphetamine, crack cocaine and prescription pills." Gibson told local media. "Many investigations are ongoing. Officers are pounding the pavement to reduce criminal activity within the city."
