D.A. Releases Bodycam, Surveillance Video In Fatal Lafayette Police Shooting Of Trayford Pellerin
The D.A. of Lafayette held a press conference today where he revealed new bodycam and surveillance video from the night Trayford Pellerin was fatally shot by Lafayette Police officers.
The news that no Lafayette Police officers would be indicted in relation to the killing of Trayford Pellerin came out shortly before the press conference began. During the press conference, D.A. Don Landry went through all of the footage that spanned the night of Pellerin's death.
From Pellerin's initial visit to one 'Circle K' location off of the Evangeline Thruway in Lafayette to the 11 shots that were fired by officers near the entrance of a second 'Circle K' location also on the Evangeline Thruway, all of the video was released during this press conference.
