DeRidder Man Pleads Guilty To Charges Of Wire Fraud
LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) — The former manager of a DeRidder ranch and tractor store has pleaded guilty in federal court to wire fraud charges related to embezzling from customer accounts.
The American Press reports 53-year-old Arnold Russell Williams of Singer and his wife, Janet L. Williams, were charged in February 2006 with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identify theft.
Arnold Williams pleaded guilty last week in federal court to the conspiracy charge.
Sentencing for Arnold Williams will be Jan. 17. He faces up to five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines and three years' supervised release.
