GUILTY: Derrick Stafford Convicted Of Manslaughter In Death Of 6-Year-Old

KATC is reporting that former Marksville Marshal Derrick Stafford has been convicted of manslaughter in the shooting death of 6-year-old Jeremy Mardis.

Stafford has also been convicted of attempted manslaughter for injuring the 6-year-old's father, Chris Few.

Sentencing will take place next week.
