Don’t Cut Corners: Ask The Trooper
It is against the law to cut through the private property in order to avoid a traffic signal, according to Louisiana State Police Troop I spokesperson Brooks David.
A caller to the program was concerned because some drivers are apparently driving through private parking lots at a high rate of speed.
"I've seen it quite often on Ambassador at Dulles," the caller said. "Sometimes they get a little careless, too."
Also discussed on Ask the Trooper:
- Why don't some drivers dim their lights for oncoming traffic?
- Do you need license to drive an all terrain vehicle?
- Does oncoming traffic need to stop for a school bus when the road is divided by a turning lane?
- What do I need to look out for before towing a trailer?
