The November 6th election is right around the corner and Louisiana is starting to see early voting for those not able to vote on election day.The election includes the presidential race, six congressional races, constitutional amendments, judgeships and local contests across Louisiana.

Voters can visit any of the parish registrar of voters' offices starting today until October 30th to cast their vote.

The offices are closed on Sunday, but open every other day from 8:30 AM to 6 PM. If you are unsure of where your polling place is, visit www.GeauxVote.com to find a complete list.

Secretary of State Tom Schedler is encouraging people to vote early because he is expecting a large voter turnout this year.
