Thursday 38 year old Mohamed Omran of Egypt was found guilty by a federal jury of refusing to leave the country. On two separate occasions Immigration agents attempted to place Omran on a commercial flight but he physically resisted those efforts. He was not allowed to board flights because of airline and TSA safety policies. Omran will be sentenced on May 11, 2015 and faces four years in prison, three years supervised release and a $250,000 fine on each count.
