A Eunice store owner is facing incest and drug charges.

Eunice Police say 41-year-old Mohamed Muftah of Yemen, the owner of Amigo's Market on East Maple Avenue in Eunice, is accused of inappropriately touching his 7-year-old stepson and his 13-year-old stepdaughter. Police say the children told their mother who told police. Authorities say the alleged abuse began in 2010.

Police say they have also been investigating Muftah for allegedly selling synthetic marijuana to undercover agents at his store. Friday morning, the judge set his bond at $25,000. He is currently in the Eunice City Jail on the following charges:

Sexual Battery

Aggravated Incest

Distribution of Synthetic Marijuana

Distribution of Drug Paraphernalia

Violation of the Uniform CDS Law (School Zone)
