Bronny James, son of NBA superstar LeBron James, was on the receiving end of something a fan throw at him from the stands during his high school game.

Bronny is a freshman for the Sierra Canyon Trail Blazers, a high school team out of Chatsworth, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.

The Trail Blazers were taking part in the HoopHall Classic tournament in Springfield, Massachusetts when what appears to be a student in the stands throw something at Bronny, 14, while he was inbounding the ball.

LeBron was in attendance, as the Lakers were on a road trip to Massachusetts to play the Celtics.

LeBron did not see the it until a twitter user tagged him in a post.

He spoke to the media following the Lakers loss to the Celtics about the situation.

“I mean it’s just disrespectful, and it was a little kid, too. I don’t know how old that little kid was. I don’t know if he learned that on his own or he learned that at home or whatever the case may be, but it’s disrespectful," said James. "I wonder how old that kid is, if he was around Bronny’s age or Bryce’s age.”

Bryce, LeBron's youngest son, is 12.
