Fire On Oil Platform Causes 2 Injuries & Evacuation This Morning
UPDATE: The U.S. Coast Guard says a 54-year-old man suffered from flash burns and a concussion, while a 29-year-old man suffered a sprained wrist and a concussion. Authorities say a light sheen is reported north of the platform.

A Shell platform, located about 115 miles south of Vermilion Bay, caught fire early this morning. 2 people were injured; 46 workers were evacuated.
The Enchilada platform is located near Garden Banks. Fortunately, there are no oil spills reported and the fire has been reduced down to a small flame, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
Petty Officer Lexie Preston says the two injured were taken to a Houston hospital by a helicopter sent by Shell. There is no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
