Four People Arrested During Drug Bust in Youngsville Home
25-year-old Christian Mitchell, 24-year-old Chevaun Walters, 20-year-old Eeliah Emerson, and 19-year-old Dequincy Emerson were all arrested Tuesday evening after an investigation into a stolen firearm led Lafayette Parish Sheriff's deputies to a drug stash inside a Youngsville home in the 800 block of Piat Road.
According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, deputies found a Draco AK pistol and F&N 9 mm handgun, one of which was the stolen firearm that authorities were looking for. Deputies say they also found the illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view. This included more than eight pounds of marijuana, 252 grams of THC derivatives, 129 dosage units of LSD, approximately 110 mL of Promethazine/Codeine mixture and approximately 380 mL of Promethazine, along with nearly $24,000 in U.S. money.

- Christian Mitchell, 25: PWITD Schedule I CDS, three counts; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Possession of Schedule III CDS; Possession of a Legend Drug; Illegal Carrying of Weapons, two counts; Monies Derived; Outstanding Warrant (issued by LPD)
- Dequincy Emerson: Possession of Marijuana; Illegal Carrying of Weapons
