40-year-old Darrel Wayne Notto of Franklin was arrested this week at a home in Franklin after St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputies say they found drugs, a weapon, and cash allegedly belonging to the convicted felon.

Sheriff Blaise Smith says Notto faces the following charges:

• Possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute

• Possession of schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids) with intent to distribute

• Possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felony
• Possession of firearm in the presence of a CDS
• Possession of schedule I THC edibles
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of schedule II (hydrocodone)
• Illegal possession of stolen firearms

Detectives say they seized the following drugs:

* 12.1 pounds of synthetic marijuana
* 5.1 pounds of marijuana
* hydrocodone pills
* 50 grams of THC edibles
* $1,896 in cash
* Ruger .357 Magnum
.
Following his booking into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, Notto was released on a $96,500 bond.
