Franklin Man Dies From Crash in Early March

89-year-old Thomas McNulty of Franklin passed away over the weekend from injuries he received from a crash nearly three weeks ago.

According to a press release from State Police, the crash happened around midday on March 5th on LA Highway 182 near Allain Road in St. Mary Parish when McNulty crashed into several trees after he lost control of the car he was driving. Investigators say McNulty was wearing a seatbelt and that impairment is not suspected to be a factor.

McNulty's injuries were deemed moderate after the crash but Troopers were told on Wednesday that he died on March 21.
