State Senator Fred Mills and Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle are 'up in the air' today in an effort to raise $10,000 for Adoption Awareness.  From high atop a billboard on Kaliste Saloom Road they joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today to explain their mission.

Angelle and Mills were hoisted up to their perch at 5:00 this morning and plan to stay there until 5:00am Saturday May 25th or until their goal of $10,000 is reached for the 'Adoption Awareness' campaign sponsored by the Family Forum.  According to Mills,

There are over 100,000 children in Foster Care in the United States. There are nearly 500 children ready for adoption in Louisiana alone. The Family Forum’s goal is to place 100 of these foster children into loving, adoptive homes.

Angelle said,

I’m pleased to team up with Family Forum in raising awareness for adoption. It’s a great chance for the pro-life community to express their support for adoption.

Mills and Angelle plan to stay on the billboard until 5:00am Saturday May 25th or until their $10,000 goal is reached.
