Funeral Arrangements Announced for Lafayette Icon Lloyd ‘Red’ Lerille

LAFAYETTE, La. — Funeral arrangements have been announced for Lloyd “Red” Lerille, the beloved Lafayette community pillar and founder of Red Lerille’s Health & Racquet Club, who passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the age of 88.

Funeral and Burial Details

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Lafayette. Interment will follow at Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery.

Public Visitation

The public visitation will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at La Chapelle de Martin & Castille - Downtown, located at:

The family has noted that there will be no public visitation on Saturday before the funeral service.
