The 20th anniversary of the wonderful Games of Acadiana will be a little bit different this year, and a whole lot of fun for the entire family. The annual event, sponsored by Miles Perret Cancer Services Center, will be held from August 1 - 20, with a virtual scavenger hunt and a possibility of winning $10,000. Players will have to download the company's free mobile app, perform some fun and cool missions, and earn points for a chance to win some awesome prizes.

According to the MPCS website, the hunt will be comprised of 50 missions that have points attached to them. And the goal of the scavenger hunt is to perform as many missions as possible to accumulate the number of points required to earn entries into the prize drawing. The hunt is free, but you will also be able to purchase points for $20 each, beginning on July 15. Of course proceeds will benefit the great work that Miles Perret Cancer Services provides to the Acadiana area to families who have been affected by cancer.

The free app will be available from Google Play or the App Store beginning on July 15th at 8:00 am. Over 50 amazing prizes will be given out on August 29th in a live Facebook event on the MPCS page, including the grand prize of $10,000.
