Have You Ridden Louisiana’s Best Roller Coaster?
You don't want to eat anything too heavy before jumping on this thing.
Summertime is all about fun time, right? It's about not soaking up that sun and getting in some good thrills before the school years kicks off again. And what's better than an amusement park to satisfy your adventurous side?
Roller coasters anyone?
Big drops, high speeds, and no one cares if you scream at the top of your lungs. Roller coasters have a way of making you feel like you're flying and dying all at the same time. It's. Awesome.
Recently, Popular Mechanics compiled a list of the Best Roller Coaster and Thrill Ride in Every State. When it comes to Louisiana, anything with the word "ragin'" in it has got to be good! Popular Mechanic chose the Ragin' Cajun at Dixie Landin' in Baton Rouge. It's a short roller coaster with only 875 feet of track, but this sucker will drop you 125 feet while carrying a force of 5.2 Gs. Not to mention, you'll be inverted 6 times before it's over.
