The latest information on the cost of healthcare is not the greatest if you were hoping to pay the same next year as you have paid this year.  It seems if you are insured through through your employer you will pay more next year.

The cost of healthcare for people insured through their employers continues to rise. The Thomson Reuters index put the increase at six-point-three percent for the year ending June 30th. Researchers said the expense of private health insurance is growing well above the rate of inflation, with hospital costs leading the way. They found spending for hospital care rose eight-point-two percent, compared to a five and a half-percent increase in doctors fees. Surprisingly, drug costs increased just three-point-four percent. The report says about 60 percent of Americans under the age of 65 -- an estimated 157-million adults -- are covered by health insurance through an employer.
