Hearing Date Scheduled For Lafayette Superintendent Pat Cooper
A hearing has been scheduled for Lafayette Parish School System Superintendent Pat Cooper.
It will be held Oct. 14 at 12:30 p.m.
The school board's decision came Wednesday, when the board also ordered President Hunter Beasley to distribute to board members a draft of attorney Dennis Blunt’s investigative report.
Until now, board members besides Beasley only had access to a presentation of the investigation.
The board also voted 6-3 to postpone discussion about Blunt’s attorney fees. The board hasn’t received an invoice since Blunt was hired in May.
