High School Football Player in Texas Attacks Referee After Ejection [VIDEO]
This is ugly.
Watch as a high school football player in Texas charges the field and plows over a referee after he was ejected from a high school football playoff game.
The senior football player left the sideline and attacked the head referee after he learned that he was disqualified from the game.
The player was ultimately removed from the stadium by police as the ref was evaluated for a concussion. The game did resume a short time afterwards.
Look, we have all seen some ugly things happen at sporting events, but this has to be one of the WORST things I have seen.
Now, many online are debating whether or not this "attack" was assault. I think we'll leave that to those in the law enforcement community to decide.
Not good.
