Homer Man Dies In House Fire
The state fire marshal's office is investigating a fatal house fire in Claiborne Parish.
Fire Marshal Butch Browning said in a news release that 82-year-old Joe Tucker of Homer died early Saturday morning.
Browning says Homer volunteer firefighters recovered Tucker's body from his home on Highway 79.
In addition to the fire marshal's office, the Claiborne Parish sheriff's office also is investigating the fatal fire.
