HUD Conflict Continues In Lafayette

The Department of Housing and Urban development asked for the resignation of Commissioners of the Lafayette Housing Authority and one commissioner has complied.Donald Fuselier complied with the HUD request, but Leon Simmons, Joe Dennis and John Freeman says they will not be quitting, choosing instead to fight it out in court. HUD's regional director Justin Ormsby says there are plenty of things that can be done including like stopping funding to the board, preventing people from having any interaction with the board and even putting the LHA in receivership.
