Louisiana Ragin' Cajun football coach Mark Hudspeth will receive the Collegiate Coach Award from the New Orleans Touchdown Club on March 7th.

Other coaches who have earned the award in the past include Les Miles (LSU), Nick Saban (Alabama), Tommy Tuberville (Cincinnati), Brian Kelly (Notre Dame), Urban Meyer (Ohio State) and Frank Beamer (Virginia Tech).

Hudspeth has led the Cajuns to 4 consecutive 9-4 seasons, as well as 4 straight R&L Carrier's New Orleans Bowls. Louisiana is one of five schools to have 4 consecutive years of postseason victories.

With a 36-16 record at UL, Hudspeth's tenure with the Cajuns has produced the best four-year record in school history.

Four-time Super Bowl champion and current Fox NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw, sports journalist and Pelicans radio color commentator John DeShazier, and Lutcher head football coach Tim Detillier will also be honored by the Touchdown Club of New Orleans.
