Increased Fines For Hiring Illegals
Legislation is headed to the governor's desk for signing that would increase the fines if a business in the state hires illegal immigrants. The fine would double to $500 for a first time violation and climb to $1,000 for a second offense. A third offense would be punishable with a $2500 dollar fine.
