The Buc-ee’s Brisket Order Very Few Know About, Including Employees
(KMDL-FM) The mention of the name Buc-ee's is sure to send an image to your mind. For some folks, that image will be of Beaver Nuggets, a popular snack. Others will see clean bathrooms and hundreds of gas pumps. While the vast majority of us will settle on one particular image, that image is of brisket.
Did You Know You Could Order Brisket from Buc-ee's This Way? Most Don't
Buc-ee's brisket has earned a reputation for being some of the finest smoked meat available on the planet today. But most customers and we're learning that many Buc-ee's employees are unaware that you can buy brisket from "the Beaver" by the pound or the complete slab.
We can understand why most of us would not leap to the conclusion that I can get a whole smoked Buc-ee's brisket or ten pounds of chopped Buc-ee's brisket because of how most of us shop at the travel center.
The emphasis on the word "travel" suggests you would be in a car and probably not in the best position to consume ten pounds of chopped beef or an entire slab. I have tried it and will confirm that eating a brisket sandwich while driving is not a good idea.
Don't Be Surprised If Buc-ee's Own Employees Aren't Aware of the Brisket Policy
One TripAdvisor user confirmed the confusion, saying the Buc-ee's they stopped at had signs up offering brisket by the pound, but when they inquired at the register, the Buc-ee's employee reportedly had to check with management.

We did some snooping about the issue on a couple of Facebook groups and the Buc-ee's official website and can confirm that if you want brisket in bulk from Buc-ee's, you can purchase it; however, there is one small detail that might make you rethink buying Buc-ee's for home use or for a party.
What Is the Major Drawback to Ordering Bulk Brisket From Buc-ee's?
You can't reserve brisket at Buc-ee's. Yes, they will sell you brisket by the pound, and yes, you can purchase an entire brisket...if it's available. That's the catch. If you're planning a big feed at your place, you won't know if Buc-ee's will have the amount of brisket you need or not. You won't find out until you reach the counter.
But if you can secure an entire brisket, the folks at Buc-ee's will do something very nice for you. They will wrap your brisket in foil to seal in the goodness. This also means you can disavow any knowledge of purchasing the brisket from Buc-ee's and claim the cooked masterpiece as your own. You're sneaky; I know you'd do that, too.
When Do They Serve Brisket at Buc-ee's?
Brisket is served as part of breakfast tacos from 4 am to 10:30 am. The lunch and dinner service of brisket begins at 11:30 am and goes until midnight; however, some locations may still sell brisket as late as 2 am depending on supply.
